HINULUGANG TAK-TAK (ANTIPOLO RIZAL)

one spot I really loved was the hinulugang taktak in antipolo...:))

The waterfall is proclaimed as a national historical shrine and the park  itself is designated as a national park by the department of  environment and natural resources..there was a time when the river almost became polluted for several years due to lots of informal settlers living nearby but now  the present local government did all efforts to rehabilitate and improve the river conditions also the water falls..

rebuilding the park was really great...now you can enjoy the beautiful view of the falls and at the same time take a dip into this pool that has now became a part of the park...

OLD BUSO-BUSO CHURCH

To visit this church...Go straight the Marcos hi-way in Antipolo Rizal bound to east..
It was built by Jesuit priest in the 17th century, got hit by an earthquake July 18, 1880 and burned down by a fire in 1943.

However the people of the town with the help of believers managed to re-construct  the church to it's original yet simple form, blending with the community surrounding...
this is how  the church looks up to this day...A bit small and more of a chapel...after all the
years that had past, it was never remodeled that's why it's called "Old Buso-buso Church"..
This is what it looks from the inside...Notice the cracks on the walls and the stones used to built it...OMG...they are lot older than I am....:))
